Hi everyone,
Its really wonderful to be back here in Dubai. Tennis-wise, it's a great place for me as I am undefeated in Dubai (...last year when I won the Emirates NBD Legends 'Rock' Dubai was the first time I played here! Haha!) The temperature and playing conditions are great-especially at night
Off the court it has been really interesting to see how much this city is changing--even from last year new buildings are going up by the minute it seems. It has also been a real treat in this tournamament to have Stefan Edberg playing. He is incredible to watch and really raises the level of the game for all of us
I'm excited to play Jim tonight. Got to get ready for my match now
Cheers,
Paul

Today is Friday and with the 3rd day is complete I’m 1-1, and I’m out of the finals since Wayne has won all of his matches, but if I can beat Todd [Martin], then there is an off chance that I can still make it to the 3rd Place Match.
Outside of my competitive nature, the tournament and the experience here in Grand Cayman is fantastic. The Ritz is a fantastic hotel and the whole atmosphere is like a holiday retreat. It’s a semi-holiday for me – of course, it is work because you want to play well and entertain the crowds - but when you wake up it’s nice weather and there are people lying by the pool – what’s not to like?
Since I’ve never been here before, I plan to discover the island. I’ll let you know my new favorites spots.
It’s been a wonderful experience – wish me luck.
Paul

Hi I'm Paul Haarhuis. This is my first time on the Outback Champions Series and my very first event in Dubai. I am really impressed with the fantastic organisation that we are having here. It is always a thrill to play and compete against the legends of the game. Dubai is a fast moving and changing city and to witness that is a wonderful experience. I hope to play more events on the Outback Champions Series so I can show what I can do on and off the court to all the tennis followers, fans and sponsors
