  BIOGRAPHY

At 15, after an opportunity to play tennis with countryman Bjorn Borg, Thomas Enqvist went on to become the No. 1 Junior in the world in 1991, capturing the title at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and reaching the finals at the French Open. After turning pro in 1991, Enqvist reached the finals at the Australian Open, and was a force on the Swedish Davis Cup team, helping them to their fourth consecutive Davis Cup finals in 1997.

 
  CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
In 1991, Enqvist captured 2 Grand Slam Juniors Titles at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and reached the finals at the French Open.
He reached the finals at the 1999 Australian Open, losing to Yevgeny Kafelnikov of Russia.
In 1999, Enqvist reached his highest ATP ranking at No. 4 in the world.
He was a force on the Swedish Davis Cup team, helping his country to a 4th consecutive Davis Cup final in 1997.
